iF Design Award

The goal of the iF Design Award is to showcase outstanding design achievements and community involvement. This year’s iF Design Award jury consisted of 132 international design experts from over 20 countries, and was tasked with recognizing innovative projects and highlighting social and global trends. Only the submissions with the most innovative power were honored with this award.

HEWI ICONIC

The iconic 477/801 series includes three new color concepts. The vitalizing shades Coral, Aqua Blue, and Pure White make up the new Tricolor color range for health care buildings in the Care division. HEWI designed the editions Apple Green/May Green/Coral as well as Aqua Blue/Steel Blue/Apple Green specially for children's hospitals, kindergartens and daycare centers—colors with a gentle, calming and harmonizing effect.

The targeted use of color in a room can have an effect on the occupants’ sense of comfort. In healthcare facilities and daycare centers, this means color plays a special role in promoting recovery, conveying a sense of safety or creating a relaxing and stress-free environment. In this way, the interaction of people and their environment as well as the restorative and rejuvenating aspects of design have been incorporated into ICONIC's color concepts.
